The headache with Dynon is not just configuration, it is the spaghetti of wires involved in connecting to one of the 4 ports on both of the screens. Configuration is also ambiguous, since Dynon expects both TX and RX but the Garmin unit (per the wiring diagram) only accepts RX. There is a TX pin on the Garmin but it is intended for other Garmin interfaces that "speak" one of only 2 TX/RX protocols (AFAICT). Is there more to the serial interface than the TxD and R= xD? If it is a configuration problem, there is a dynon rep A&P I can ta= ke it to for configuration.
